– 1 lb ground beef – 1 onion, chopped – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed – 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoe – 2 tablespoons chili powder – 1 teaspoon cumin – Salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients
In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and garlic and cook until softened.
Stir in kidney beans and diced tomatoes.
Add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Simmer uncovered for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot with toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or green onions.
